About Bitable
Bitable was created to help riders find the right bit for their horse without the expense of purchasing multiple bits that may not be suitable. By offering a simple trial service, riders can test a bit properly and make a confident decision.
Experience You Can Trust
My name is Sharon Rowlands & I have many years of experience riding horses across a variety of disciplines, with my current focus on dressage where I am riding at Level 6.
Alongside my own riding, I have coached at Pony Club for over 12 years and continue to coach riders privately. I also work at Rangiora Equestrian Supplies, where I regularly help riders select equipment for their horses.
Why Bitable?
Through riding, coaching, and working with riders every day, one thing is very clear — every horse is an individual. What works perfectly for one horse may not suit another, and it often takes more than one ride to know if a bit is truly the right fit.
Bitable was created to give riders the opportunity to trial quality bits properly, giving both horse and rider the time they need to decide if a bit is working before committing to purchase.
If you can't see the bit you would like to try or the correct size for your horse, please get in touch as new bits are arriving all the time.
Once you find the ideal bit I can assist you in finding a retailer that can supply the bit.
Bitable Trial Bit Programme – 14 Days
Bitable provides a 14-day trial service that allows riders to test selected horse bits to determine suitability for their horse. Bitable operates as a bit rental service only and does not sell bits.
All trial bits are supplied as used items and remain the property of Bitable at all times. They are provided solely for trial purposes and must be returned at the end of the trial period. Reasonable use and standard wear during the trial is expected.
